Dear Sudoku mate,
If you think you know a trick or two (or more) in solving
Sudoku fast, then this is the most important message you ever read.
Here's why:
As you know, Geostar has always been at the forefront,
creating innovative Sudoku resources, for beginners and buffs, with
missionary zeal. (Please see below for the list of our Resources)!
We also conduct surveys periodically to understand
what interests us, Sudoku enthusiasts most.
Our recent survey revealed that solving Sudokus faster
is one of the major obsessions of Sudoku beginners and buffs alike.
And interestingly, despite the vast info on Sudoku
all over the net (including some junk), there is little to help one
to learn to double (or triple, or quadruple) one's speed of solving
Sudoku. This is because, solving Sudokus, even the most fiendish ones,
is very different from solving them fast. The latter involves not merely
Sudoku techniques, but much, much more. Lots of practice being one,
for instance.
I have formed a team of Sudoku experts/ researchers
to create an eBook on this topic, using their collective wisdom (as
I believe no single person may be equipped adequately to write comprehensively
on this subject). And they are in the process of producing a UNIQUE,
one-of-its-kind, eBook that every Sudoku fan would love to own.
Yet, it's quite possible that they may be leaving out
some tips/ tricks/ techniques. Which some of you may be able to come
up with. I want to include any such ideas too in our eBook.
I have another reason for asking you for this help.
I also want to know which of these tips, tricks and techniques are most
common knowledge, which are not so well known, and whether there are
any misconceived ideas. This knowledge may help us put together the
eBook prioritizing the chapters even better.
Here's the deal: If you believe you know some tricks
that would help everyone (or some, say just beginners or buffs) learn
to solve Sudoku faster, and if you would give me a few moments of your
time and input, I'll gratefully give you the premiere (pre-launch-for-sale)
copy of the eBook when we've got it ready, Absolutely FREE!
Yes, you read it right.
However, to qualify, at least one of your tips/ tricks/
techniques should find a place in our eBook. Even if your suggestion
is not unique and many others have suggested it, or even if our panel
of writers had included your suggestion in the eBook anyway, I'll still
give you a copy of the ebook FREE! It's my way of saying, 'Thanks' for
giving me your time and valuable input.
However, if someone doesn't suggest anything but just
fills in the form, or gives too generic suggestion, namely, to practice
more, or suggestions related to computer/ software based tools, or if
we don't believe the suggestion given could be included in the eBook,
I may not be able to give such participants a FREE copy of the eBook.
This survey is only for those who have some serious tips, tricks and
techniques to share for people who want to solve Sudoku manually.
And I also propose to give away $100 in Cash Prize(s).
Either as $100 Cash Prize to one person or as $25 to 4 persons, or in
any other combination we deem fit. Based on the quality, importance,
uniqueness, and number of suggestions I receive. The decision on the
award of Prizes is at the sole discretion of Geostar, and such decision
will be final & binding on all. All the participants will be informed
of the winner(s) of the Prize(s) thru email!
The instructions for downloading the eBook and the
announcement of the results of the Cash Prizes will be delivered to
you in your email Inbox; so please make sure I have your correct email

When the eBook is ready, I'll bet you would've never
seen this stuff anywhere before. The eBook I email you will be Absolutely
invaluable. And because you're helping me out, I'll hold nothing back.
I may also seek your valuable feedback on the eBook later, but giving
feedback is optional.
All I need to know is: what is/are your suggested tips,
tricks and techniques for solving Sudoku faster? It could be anything
at all...even if it sounds silly. You could include 1, 10 or 100 suggestions.
I'd appreciate if your suggestions are unambiguous and detailed. You
may even include suggestions or shortcuts that help you scan the grids
faster, or more easily, or more correctly, avoiding mistakes. Or the
